-ofc the main reason for this trip was to see gaga perform live, but outside of the concert i actually really enjoyed the city🥰. prob one of the easiest trips i’ve ever taken. just one travel card (and the maps) and you’re set!!
-yeah it’s less soulful than bkk, but sg really knows what it’s doing. while sightseeing (well we biked like CRAZY everywhere to save the💸), it felt like a fully developed US city but in SEA tropical heat. literally one country away from thailand and yet soo different. like bangkok in its final form ykwim?

- the art scenes here are really cute. multicultural SEA vibes into one aesthetic scape. definitely up there with bkk’s art energy.
-the food was great. we ticked off every must-try. but tbh most of what’s famous here is known for being the og. but now that thailand has some pretty spot-on replicas, it makes you wonder if the 1–2 hr lines are worth it… but trying the og once is always a yes for me.
-now onto the main event: the incomparable LADY GAGA. been a LMs since forever. she opened my world wide open. so seeing that iconic set (the same one from coachella & copacabana) live?? with my bestie who i used to stan her with in high school. now fast forward ten years and here we are, in the same room, singing the same songs, standing in front of someone who shaped so much of who we are. it felt like one step closer to becoming the version of myself i’ve always dreamed of.🥹 THE PAWS ARE ALWAYS UP FOREVER!!!!!
this hands down the best concert i’ve ever been to. her stage presence is unmatched. theatrical. legendary. this show is easily her best yet.
& THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING AN ES DEVLIN PRODUCTION IN PERSON AT THIS CONCERT???? IT WAS SUCH A REVELATION FOR ME FR!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭
-the downside??? kinda pricey if you wanna travel comfortably. and the weather was humid as HELL, but maybe we just picked the wrong season tho.
-overall, 10/10 trip. got to see gaga, explored a new city, squeezing in all the spots we wanted to hit with the little time we had, and giggled through it all while still jobless. my final pup cup before entering the corporate world fr.😭😭😭
